2. Flex or bend your ankle forward inside of your boot until you feel your shins pressing lightly on the cuff of your boots

3. Use flexion and extension on every turn

4. Take lessons to help you incorporate this technique into your skiing

Off-Snow Hobbies and Fun Facts: Outside of Whitefish Mountain Resort I am a Soil Conservation Technician with the NRCS. I work mainly in Flathead County but I also assist LincolnCounty once a week. I work with private land owners on conservation and restoration issues on their land. I hope to make this or a related field my “career” when I grow up. My off-snow hobbies include hiking, backpacking, ultimate Frisbee, soccer, softball, boating, traveling, Frisbee golf, camping, running, wake boating, water skiing, and hanging out with family and friends. Anything outside and active will work for me. Other on-snow hobbies I enjoy are telemark skiing, snow shoe and cross country touring. I love to learn new things and be challenged intellectually.
