Whitefish Mountain Resort - Freestyle Team 09-10
Whitefish Mountain Resort - Freestyle Team 09-10
The Freestyle Team utilizes the Fishbowl Terrain Park as well all of the FreeRide terrain our mountain has to offer. We won't miss a powder day!

The Weekend Program includes Saturday training plus Terrain Park/FreeRide coaching on Friday nights and Sunday afternoons. Beginners focus on jumping and jibbing basics, while more experienced team members focus on refining techniques and competition strategies. A progression based curriculum is employed at all levels, starting small and simple and moving to bigger and complex. Coaches are proven high-end Freestylers, combining coaching, demonstrating and competition experience.

Competition participation is not mandatory, but is encouraged. Whitefish Mountain Resort hosts approximately 10 Freestyle events each season. Slopestyle, Rail Jams, Best Trick and X-Cross events are held locally and are relatively inexpensive. Training will not be held on home competition days as all members will either compete, spectate, help out and/or cheer on teammates. Additional training days and traveling event coaches are arranged on an individual basis and are not included in the program fees.

The Freestyle Team is all about fun! The primary focus is having a great time, improving skills and throwing down tricks with friends. Camaraderie, sportsmanship and team dynamics are a big part of the team experience.
