Junior Race Team (Sat. 9AM-3PM ages 8-12) Designed for those who want to take a step further towards the competitive skiing path. Participants are generally ages 8-12. Our coaches will blend all-mountain skiing, intelligent gate training & drills, terrain park & other tools in a curriculum designed to develop a strong skiing foundation. Participants should be strong intermediate to advanced skiers. Jr Race Team starts with Holiday Camp Dec 27-31, then trains on Saturdays through March 19th.	$555	$650
1 Day Per Week (Sat; Ages 8-14) The Saturday only program is designed for those just getting started with our programs. The focus is an introduction to Alpine Ski Racing. Our focus on sound skiing fundamentals development is guided by proven race training curriculum and includes both free-skiing and gate training.	$765	$900

Race Team Academy (Ages 12-19) For those competitors looking for a more intensive and comprehensive training environment, we offer the four day Academy that includes full afternoons of on-snow training on Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as regular weekend training and competition opportunities. 4 Days per Week: Saturdays, Sundays, Wednesdays 1-6pm and Thursdays 1-6pm	$2000	$2,350

Whitefish Mountain Resort - Race Team 09-10

Our programs teach a lot; we spend time on skill development searching for improvement and mastery of the ever important fundamentals. While it is tempting to ski, ski, ski (and skiing is what we are all about); without the development and mastery of the basic fundamental skills, true potential will be difficult to realize. As we develop skills into usable assets, free-skiing becomes the playground where the athletes learn to employ those skills in many different ways and in many different situations.

Gate training, or gate drills and competition are factored in to our curriculum to reinforce learning at the development stages, or to prepare for more intense challenges to come.

The Flathead Valley Ski Education Foundation was founded in 1973 to advance our children's athletic, academic and character development by supporting their involvement in competitive alpine racing, freestyle and snowboarding programs. Our committed volunteer network provides outstanding support for our programs through organizational and fundraising assistance in order to provide those programs with state of the art materials, superior professional staffing and scholarship assistance for deserving student/athletes.
